Winter Wrap Up

Hello my loveliesss. It definitely felt like a chilly winter day today! Especially when you can see the cold air you're breathing out (scientific signs that winter is here of course). But we must soldier on! Here is a little outfit post for you all. I got this jumper (cocoon sweater) a little while ago from Topshop when I didn't see many in store, but recently I went in and they have various different colours, so you're spoilt for choice. If you've been following my blog and Instagram (of course you have been, silly me) you'll know that I'm obsessing over polo necks at the moment. So this was an obvious choice, and I also love this mustard colour. The jumper is not super thick but I like that as you can layer underneath and on top without boiling (those of you living in London understand my pain regarding winter layering and a packed tube-you suffocate!)

Jeans are also from Topshop they are the high wasted black coated joni. These have been one of my favourites this winter. They are so easy to dress up as they have that nice coated shine to them (subtle but adds that extra something) or to wear casually as they are super comfy and fit perfectly too. I find Topshop jeans do fit well and they have a variation of sizes, especially for petite sizes which can be difficult to find. There is nothing worse than jeans that go baggy around the knees! (Hate this with a passion, if they are meant to be skinny of course, if they are straight cut or baggy it's different). Lastly my bag is an old Topshop black handbag from the Marc B range. I have to be honest I'm finding it super hard to find nice bags for a reasonable price, which are not huge, but a medium size to fit say a notebook in! So if you guys know of any leave comments below!

I did find a bargain buy for a lovely small bag perfect for when you're out and about, but not for uni school or college as it's a bit too small. So keep an eye out for that post coming soon!
So that's it for now everyone! Hope you're having a lovely Monday, as lovely as a Monday can be :)

Get the Look! Styling and Tools

Hellooooooo. Here is a little post on how I get my curly hair. So I'll begin with the shampoo & conditioner. I recently changed to Dr.Organic Morrocan Argon oil because I felt my hair got used to my old shampoo  & conditioner and it really wasn't doing anything for it. I wanted to go for something organic and not overly pricey. I have really thick curly frizzy hair (fabulous I know... sense my sarcasm guys) so I need products that will really moisturise my hair and soak in all the good stuff. I have to say it does leave my hair feeling soft smooth and overall in a good condition. As its natural the only down side for me is the fragrance. You guys might love it, but for me I find it that little bit too strong. But if I'm honest it's not enough to put me off! So overall great products for my hair as it needs a little extra nourishing especially during the winter!

Moooving onto drying and styling my hair. I blow dry my hair straight with my ordinary Babyliss Pro Speed hair dryer, using the Tresemme heat defence spray whilst my hair is still damp, of course make sure you comb your hair first to prevent excess hair falling out when drying. Then I section my hair into 2 halves and spray the Moroccan Oil Frizz Spray (really helps to tame any fly away hairs and adds that extra moisture to keep my hair smooth and silky). After my hair is all protected I begin to blow dry using my GHD blow drying brush (its the biggest one they have as my hair is thick and used to be much longer too). And continue onto the bottom layer after the top layer is completed.

After my hair is dried straight I use my GHD's to get rid of the frizz and tame the whole of my hair. For those of you with naturally straight hair you can obviously skip this part as you are lucky you don't have an extra step to do (not jealous at all). Now that my hair is all straight and smooth, I again section my hair into 2 halves, sticking the top half in a crab hair band whatever you have. The I begin to curl my hair using the Glamour wand, by simply wrapping my hair around the wand holding it in place for a few seconds. Continue to do this for the whole hair and lastly add a little hair spray to hold the curls in place. And there you have it! A simple way to get some nice wavy curls. You can also create this look with GHD's whatever you find easier and that works for your hair. This is a nice way to get those soft curls which I love, especially now my hair is shorter to give it that little bit of volume.

So that's a quick little Get The Look for you all. Let me know about your favourite hair styles by leaving comments below, and any posts or videos you'd like to see!

Quick beauty Go-to's!

Hello everyone! Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend. Thought I'd do a quick post on my favourite Go-to products for an easy fresh look. As you all know I'm a student so I'm all for good bargains and not spending silly amounts on products. Here are just 6 products which are great for day time, and can easily be added to for some night time glam.

I love benefit products as I find they work well with my skin. That's the annoying thing about make up you just have to keep testing till you find those that go really nicely with your skin type. The Hello flawless foundation is great for dry skin, I have mostly dry skin but a few oily areas mainly in my t-zone, so this is great with a powder to set, and lasts the whole day! If you want a full coverage look the Hello flawless powder is amazing and keeps your make up looking fresh all day, but you can easily replace that with any translucent powder if you want something a tad lighter.

Moving onto the concealer Maybelline Instant anti age, which I have in the shade Nude. I was recommended this by my aunt and I have to say it's great! There have been a load of reviews on this product and I do think its met those high standards which I had from reading the raving comments, especially because it's a high street brand so I was very happy. Another thing which I love is that you can use this as a highlighter too. A very natural looking highlight can be created with either the sponge which you get on the top of the concealer (Love!) or with a beauty blender/ordinary sponge.

Next to add a little colour to the face of course we have to have a bit of bronze. Yes it's the benefit Hoola. This is also another handy little product with a mirror and brush all tucked into one miny box, perfect to chuck into your bag and also when you are in a rush. I love the warm tone this has, during winter I think its important to have that softer look to your face and this works lovely with the other products creating a nice glowly look. And of course it's great as a contour to add more dimension to your face, if that's needed. I am a sole believer in using make up to enhance your beautiful features and everything which makes you different to other people, not painting and sculpting your face to all look the same as one another.

On the eyes I like to have a little eyeliner just on my top lash line, this is the Rimmel exaggerate eye definer. I love this as it has a little smudger for some subtle blending and it's only £4! Baaargain. I havent added mascara as this is a quick few products and I don't always add mascara if I'm in a rush (but if I did I use the cheapest one known to man which is Miss Sporty Gorgeous Extra Black, I love the brush). And last but not least my lovely Kiko Make up Milano lipstick, sooo I cant tell you the exact colour as its rubbed off (sorry!) but its a gorgeous pinky nude, the best for a natural everyday shade. Nail varnish and accessories are a quick way to add that little extra something to your outfit. Obsessed with this grey shade by Barry M!

So that's it my lovelies! A quick little product Go- to for you all.
Please leave any comments below, and let me know about posts you'd like to see and your favourite Go-to's :)

Greys & more Greys

Hello everyone! So here's my first post (eeek)! I think its only right for me to give a little background info as I am the new girl amongst all the fabulous bloggers out there. So I'm 20 years old currently in my final year of University in London (I know great time to start a blog, as its possibly the most busiest and most stressful year so far, but hey ho, whats life without a little stress!) Those of you that know me personally will be laughing whilst reading this because they all know I'm the biggest worry/ stresser of them all. Yes I know stresser is not a word, but its my blog I can make up words right? Anyway (sorry I do tend to go off on tangent, but I'm sure you'll get used to that) :) so yes basically this is little snippets of my life and all the little things I enjoy. Also my handy tips about various things and hopefully things you all want to see or want to know about (do leave comments and let me know of any posts you want me to do). So yep that's me for now, hope you all enjoy my blog and are regular visitors!
